Cribbing And Crabbing

Not that many of you care, but I’m back from my road trip – ALIVE! Shocking, innit? I shall tell all in another post.

My life sucks, as usual. I’m sleeping on the floor of my room because my bed is covered with clothes, books, CDs etc. I’m too lazy to clean it up.  So, I resign myself to shivering on the floor every night (no, that does not motivate me to clean up). My brother now has a Macbook. I wish I didn’t like him so much. Makes things difficult. Don’t you just hate it when someone you know buys that 2.13 kg aluminium body of awesome-ness?

My cat, Alejo, thinks he’s a dog. He buries bones in the garden, scares away other cats. Hangs out with dogs. He even makes weird loud noises when strangers approach the house.

Anyway, dinner awaits. I cooked. Can you sense the excitement?

slow dancing in a burning room

one of my kittens died today. she was lying near the gate..a crow was picking at her flesh. i still don’t know how i’m supposed to feel. i am torn between the desire to keep a straight face and to fall down on my knees crying. every living thing dies. i accept death as an inevitable fate. but i wish i didn’t.

the whole world is burning and all we ever do is appreciate the beauty of the flames. everyday we lose more of our humanity. not because we can’t feel but we’re so used to death and destruction that it just doesn’t affect us anymore. lakhs died as a result of the earthquake in Haiti recently. as pictures of bloody bodies looped on the tv screen, i didn’t feel a thing. there was no sense of tragedy.

i’ve become cold. more so recently. i’ve just stopped feeling. i know that i don’t really post emotional stuff on my blog. i’ve even promised that my blog will have only pointless posts. i guess sometimes you have to break a promise.

many of us want to visit one of the poles i.e. south pole or north pole. but since most of us lack determination and are not trump’s adopted children we resign ourselves to destiny and give up.

now however, one can experience the frigid, 40 degrees below zero conditions that are prevalent in the arctic and the antarctic. all puneites have to do is watch a movie in inox or hang around in crossword or landmark.  its all quite affordable too. the management in all these places seem to believe in providing extremely cheap alternatives to certain destinations. plus, at the end of the outing you will definitely know what it feels like to be an iceberg.

i told you this blog will always be nonsensical. just practicing what i preach.
